03 / PRIVACY
Your play.
Your published records.
What stays in this browser, what is published,
and what is sent with your consent.
Information stored in your browser
Your language, sound setting, best score on this device, and entered display name are stored in this browser’s localStorage for later visits. No login is required. You can remove these settings, the best score, and the display name by clearing this website’s data in your browser.
Publishing to the ranking
Submitting a record is optional. Publishing sends your display name and a summary including score, survival time, and match counts. The server checks elapsed time and basic consistency between the reported numbers before publishing. Tap positions and action logs are not sent. Stored and public fields are name, score, LEVEL, survival time, TARGET matches, maximum COMBO, publication time, and record ID. You do not need to use your real name or include contact information.
How long ranking records remain
The board keeps one best record per browser. The server retains the top 1,000 browser-best records and shows the top 20 in the public list. A record and its internal browser association remain until displaced from that set or removed by the operator. This initial release has no self-service editing or deletion of a published record. Contact the operator below about removal. You can publish anonymously. Check the content before publishing.
Sharing a result
The result screen creates share text and a PNG image on this device. Copying the text or saving the image does not require publishing to the ranking. The shared link goes to this website’s home page and contains no browser or session identifier. The game does not automatically post to an external service. Choosing the share menu or X passes the content to your chosen service, where you confirm the destination and publication. Once the game is loaded, text and image preparation also work without a connection.
Hosting and network requests
Cloudflare delivers this website. When you request a page or use the ranking, the service provider processes network information such as your IP address, requested URL, and browser details to deliver the service and prevent misuse. A ranking connection failure does not stop a game that is already loaded.
Ranking sessions and request limits
Starting a run requests a short-lived, single-use server session to check a later ranking submission and its elapsed time. This does not publish a name or result. The session is tied to the same browser and expires after two hours. Session and retry-check data are scheduled for automatic deletion two hours after the last issued session. A daily hash derived from the requesting IP address limits repeated requests; these request counters are also temporary. The plain IP address is not saved in the ranking database. Cloudflare invocation logs and traces are enabled for a sample of requests. Application code does not log names, submission contents, cookie credentials, or session tokens.
A cookie for this browser
A first-party cookie named __Host-numbers_browser lets you continue with the same browser identity and keep one best record. Its value is random. It uses HttpOnly so JavaScript cannot read it, Secure for HTTPS, and SameSite=Lax. It lasts 180 days and is refreshed when you start a run. The server stores a hash rather than the credential itself, and does not expose it in the ranking. This cookie supports the ranking, not advertising, and requires no login. Deleting it or changing browsers loses the association with the previous record.
AdSense ownership verification
The public account meta tag and ads.txt contain a publisher ID to prepare the site for Google AdSense registration. This initial release does not load Google ad-serving scripts or display advertisements. The ownership information itself does not create advertising cookies. If advertising is introduced, this notice and the necessary consent controls will be updated.
Analytics
Only with your permission, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to measure page visits, game starts, first matches, endings, retries, and share-button actions. GA4 receives aggregate statistics, never display names, post text, play IDs, pointer coordinates, action logs, or exception messages. GA4 event data is retained for 14 months. Clarity masks text and records interaction patterns; it is not loaded on URLs with a query or fragment. Your choice is saved for 180 days in the first-party and_time_analytics cookie and shared by And Time, Ads and Time, Sezoku and Time, and Numbers and Time. This cookie records only allow or decline, with no person or browser identifier. Change it through And Time analytics settings in the footer or the shared controls on And Time. Earlier choices for an individual game are not carried over: the shared scope asks for a fresh choice once. Turning analytics off clears analytics cookies (_ga variants, _clck and _clsk) on each site and reloads pages that have already loaded analytics. Other open games pick up the change when revisited or during periodic checks. If your browser cannot save cookies, the choice lasts only while that page remains open. Analytics scripts stay unloaded until permission is granted. You can play, share and use the ranking without permission. Advertising consent stays denied.
Public records and browser data are different
Clearing browser storage does not automatically erase a record already published to the server or copies made by other people. Publish only after confirming that your display name and result may be viewed and shared by anyone.
Contact
Contact the developer and operator, Yuuki Ishiyama, using the And Time contact form linked below. Your reply address and message are handled under the privacy notice linked from the form to respond to your inquiry, including requests about removing public records. For a removal inquiry, include the game name, Numbers and Time, and information that identifies the record, such as its display name, score, and approximate play time.
